Giving Made Easy

Without having in-person worship during this COVID-19 pandemic, congregants and friends of CUMC are encouraged to continue with financial contributions to the church. Options are available. Checks can be mailed to the church office at 1521 Old Ridge Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465. Another option is donating online even if you have not done so previously. This digital option allows you to give a one-time donation if you so desire without having to sign-up for weekly giving. This simple process starts with going to https://cumc.gvtls.com. Select the giving fund you want to contribute to, enter an amount and your preferred frequency of giving. Repeat the process for other funds you want to support. Then, proceed to checkout. An email address is required along with contact information. Payment can be made through your checking account (preferred method because of lower cost) or a credit card. A new kind of worship service.

The Welcome Table – A Contemporary Worship Experience

Have you thought about the meaning or purpose of life?

Are you trying to make sense out of a world that too often seems filled with turmoil and hate?

Are you tired of easy answers and solutions to the problems you face?

Do you long for community – a place where you belong and are welcome?

Are you interested in exploring how faith and life can be vitally connected with other open-minded, nonjudgmental and caring people?

If your answer to any of these questions is “yes,” then you are invited to The Welcome Table, an open gathering of people, who are seeking answers to these questions by trying to follow Jesus. Our goal each week is to provide a safe environment for you to bring your questions and to share your difficulties, while also strengthening you for living life well.

Each week will have its own focus, and there will be time for questions and discussion. The service will be informal, with a musician leading the singing of both contemporary and traditional music. It is a come as you are service, with no need to dress up for church, and we will have coffee, tea and hot chocolate to help get you going. We believe that there is a place for you at The Welcome Table, and we hope you will join us.

We also have a Nursery and Children’s Ministry that runs at the same time as our Welcome Table service.

9:30 am – Adult Sunday School Class (September through May)
11:00 am – Traditional Worship Service
12 Noon – Fellowship Time (2nd & 4th Sundays, October through May)
