Little Learners - Kids

MISSION:Little Learners Schedule
Coventryville United Methodist Church represents Little Learners Preschool with a purpose in mind: “To create a Christian atmosphere where young children’s spiritual, social, mental and physical development is the central focus. We are here to serve the community and help our children learn to handle the joys as well as struggles life will bring through sharing, patience, kindness, even occasional disappointments, but most of all love!

little-learners-contactWe provide a balanced curriculum of crafts, games, songs, poems, writing & reading in order to develop well-rounded individual Little Learners. Even with everything listed above we also include prayertime, attention to healthy eating habits and the importance of exercise. We introduce world cultures and languages, even science experiments. We also incorporate kinesthetic means for learning in our “Learning is Fun” portion of the day order to always keep “Learning FUN!” Programs, field trips, community service are also part of our curriculum. We keep quite busy while learning our letters, numbers and so much more!

Little Learners was established in 1971 as an extension of the education ministry of Coventryville United Methodist Church. The founders had the blessing from our church and Lord, as well as a favorable community, which gave the school strength leading to early successes. For over 40 years we have offered preschool programs for 3 year olds and 4 year olds. A Board of Directors has been an influential source of truth to our Mission. Among members of the Board are certified teachers as well as parents of enrolled students.

A few years ago, a returning grandparent who has had multiple grandchildren attend Little Learners commented on how much the students loved the program. Another parent commented on how their child was anxious to return to school after the winter break. There are many statements like this that are a testimony to the continued quality and success of our school.

We welcome you to come in for a visit and tour of the church building where you can see the classrooms and formulate your own opinion.
